Location & Directions

Harleston has a population of around 6000 people who enjoy an abundance of independant local services.

If you are lucky to be in Harleston long enough to explore the area, here’s a few ideas. On our doorstep busy Harleston with independent shops and café’s, four pubs, and several good restaurants only a few miles away.  Harleston offers fantastic fishing opportunities with the Harleston Lakes a 10 minute walk away, and miles of easy access to the River Waveney.  Walk, cycle, or drive for a couple of minutes and find yourself in lovely countryside. 

Ten minutes drive to Golf courses at Bungay and Diss. Historic Norwich, a beautiful city renowned for it’s 900 year old Norman cathedral, castle and colourful market…not to mention the retail therapy opportunities!  The Victorian seaside town of Southwold famous for it’s unique beach huts, lighthouse and Adnams Brewery, both only half an hours drive from Harleston. 

Other great places to visit.  Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Orford, Framlingham, Wingfield Barns, Wyken Vineyard, The Broads, Lavenham, North Norfolk Coast.  Even Cambridge is just an hour away!
